1st time i went with a friend – it was great atmosphere lovely bit small in seating arrangements but thoroughly enjoyed the food and coffee.
2nd time i went with my husband we saw a customer there with some great looking Nachos (my husband loves Nachos) and in other cafes they have been quite disappointing – i ordered the chicken stack which was ok it was noticeably zapt in the microwave killed a bit of flavour i think, then we heard the staff talk about how they were out of chilli beans my hubby thinking – no, no, no, no…. but they made his nachos which tasted OK- but its just not the same when they have given you nice corn chips n cheese with nice beef mince – then added baked beans with sweet chilli sauce – very disappointing indeed when they took out plates away i said we were not impressed with the nachos becos it had no chilli beans and she said ‘sorry we do make it with chilli beans but we had run out’ i said “you shouldve told us then we could of had the opportunity to re-order” again she was apologetic and gave us a free piece of carrot cake with yogurt. Nice but not the same.

Have you seen the Palace Cafe since it re-opened on Friday 20th of Nov after a much needed facelift! Wow, what a wonderful change. The Palace always did great food all made fresh on the premises everyday and awesome coffee and now it’s even better. Staff are awesome, food is brilliant and it’s just a great place to go! Highly recommend!
small busy little cafe. not the flashest of places but definately great food and coffee. got a good feel about it. everyone eagre to please with menu items. caramel slice to die for
Palace is always great for a quick drink or a superb brunch. The food and coffee is always great. Today, I popped in for a cappuccino and scone before work and now feel ready to face the day.
