Great Indian option in New Plymouth. Offers a step away from the usual indian meals at other places, good if you cant face another sweet and creamy butter chicken. Great decor and nice dining area at front for the summer evenings.

Dinner on a wet Monday evening, so quiet-ish but lots of trade for take outs.
Restaurant is rather chic, contemporary Indian with a twist, so a nice environment for a night out. Tables looked great with good glassware and cutlery settings.
Food was delicious & flavours good with out being overpowering, and enough meat/vegetables. Interesting selection of wines on list and available by the glass.
Will be checking it out again in the future.

Very average. Has a lovely atmosphere and decor but the plastic chairs ruin it. The food was very average at best, particularly for the price, and there was barely any meat in the curry dishes. They were not up to par in taste to other Indian restaurants in town. Very disappointed, had high expectations because of (we suspect paid-for) review in NZ Restaurant magazine.

Pleasant and friendly service. I highly recommend the Malabari fish curry, it is possibly the finest of Indian fish dishes.
