We stopped on the way back from Whangarei for dinner and the main courses were very delicious. The quality and taste was like in expensive restaurants in Auckland. Thanks a lot to find something like that in Wellsford.

Never been here before but noticed the Atomic Coffee sign out front and decided to drop in for a couple of takeaway coffees for the trip back to Auckland. While in there I couldn’t resist a muffin and lemon ginger slice.
Excellent coffee, excellent service, excellent muffin and the slice was one of the best I’ve had. Definitely recommend it as the place to stop in Wellsford when passing through!

Recently I stopped at this cafe for a late lunch coming from Whangarei. I had a sirloin steak which was awesome. The mushroom sauce was so delicious, I would say it was divine. It was so reasonably priced & I would have to pay twice that amount in Auckland City. In fact that is what I had to do, this week at a place which is specializing in steaks and it was not that good too. Can some body send me the email address of this restaurant please?

Fabulous place – always spotlessly clean including the restrooms. The staff are cheery and friendly, and the food is yummy and great value. Try the Latte – my husband raves about it! When ALL the cafes in Warkworth were closed on Labour Day last week this gem was open for business. A great place to stop off for a reviving break.

We went on a bike trip on Labour Day and were looking for somewhere we could have a decent breakfast. I saw the review of Pepper Cafe and we decided to give it a try. What a surprise – service was friendly and efficient and the food was oustanding. The eggs were exactly as we wanted it and the bacon – what can I say – scrumptious. I can definitely recommend the Pepper Cafe. ( for South Africans – better than a Wimpy breakfast)

Excellent service, friendly & helpful staff and excellent value for money. Will certainly stop in again when up North.
