Learned about this restaurant and the Wild Food challenge on the Coromandel website. Took the opportunity to have dinner there after exploring the upper Coromandel Peninsular. Food and service were excellent. The staff know the menu well and explained the specialty dish. We hope the chef wins the Wild Food competition.

The food was very delicious. Although it is a bit expensive, it was really worth it! The best thing on the menu was the bbq ribs…. I still think about them to this day. The seafood is also spectacular. A great restaurant for special occasions!

All ways call in here when in Coromandel.
Tasteful surroundings, relaxed and friendly and a guarantee of good food. Last her on our honeymoon last year.

We’ve enjoyed our meals at the Pepper Tree every time we’ve called in. Worth making the trip to Coromandel town to eat here. Service with a beaming smile and fabulous food too. Actually, our favourite in NZ (we’re from UK but we’ve managed to get there every summer for the past 7 years)
