Bad service. Paid for breakfast but after 45 minute wait, left. Even when I asked where it was, told it wouldn’t be long. I wouldn’t recommend the place and would NEVER go back. Can’t tell what the food is like because we didn’t get any!!

FABULOUS – you never have to wait long for your coffee at this cafe – brilliant, friendly staff and wonderful coffee. The food, though a little pricey is really nice. A great experience and never disappointing. Merci Fred and staff !

The pastries are to die for! Higher prices but worth the taste sensation. Small coffees..

Okay little cafe in central New Plymouth, however there are plenty of great options around if you dont feel like overly strong coffee or over priced cabinet food and cakes. Also they stop serving lunch on weekends pretty early – like 2pm! But fresh baked ciabatta and baguettes are great and resonably priced to take away.

Great selection of food, breads and cakes , especially the Macaroons and Lemon loafs when available. Very good coffee. Always a treat on Sundays as busy with the bustle of the farmers market. Great place to relax and read the paper.

Fantastic selection of breads, pastries and other treats, “like no other” in Taranaki.
Great place to be when the Farmers’ Market is on every Sunday morning, or any other time come to that.
Special decor, special people.

The best cafe in New Plymouth. It is a lovely little cafe with the best coffee around. Lovely pastries and the french toast is the best I have ever had – and out of the ordinary but absolutely delicious! A lovely place to be on a Sunday morning with the farmers market out the front. Highly recommended all around.

Great ambiance, friendly and welcoming staff, REAL French baguette – and the croissant aux amandes is to die for! My husband can never decide between the pain au chocolat or the lemon tarte – given the option, he’ll have both! We live 30 Minutes out of New Plymouth, so it’s not an everyday treat for us. Every Sunday though we come to town to be part of the Farmers Market held right in front of Petit Paris, and we indulge. Not being a coffee drinker, I love the soy milk chai. Great to start on a cold Market day.
