Have been here twice now; once on my own and the 2nd time with my wife, who’s vegetarian.
I’d told her that thee was a good selection of food for vegetarians and she was not disappointed, even though her choice of mains was not available the day we ate there!
With just the one person taking orders (the owner/operator?), cooking and serving the food, it takes a wee bit longer than hoped for but the food quality is excellent and very good value too.
It’s not pretending to be a posh place to eat and yet the food is as good as anywhere else in Wellington serving similar food.
Highly recommended to anyone wanting great food, friendly service and genuine vale for money!

Best Phoenician food in Wellington. I’ve tried the falafel, lamb shish and chicken kebab, and everything was authentic and yummy as!
The lamb is incredibly tender & tasty, and I now eat falafel because of trying it here.
Definitely the best place to go in Welly for a kebab and the baklawa for a delish treat!

Best falafel in Wellington, best baklava in Wellington (pistachio and rosewater, mmmm). They use proper crispy pita bread in their kebabs (unlike some places which just use burrito wrappers that soon turn soggy) and it makes a huge difference. They could improve on their greens selection – try using mesculin, rocket etc instead of just plain old iceberg lettuce. Other than that, top marks! I am vegan and my mother who is omni greatly enjoyed her lamb kibbi. Reasonably priced too. I would recommend this place.
