The only hotel restaurant I enjoy eating in! Great service and fantastic food selection (even have gluten free items). You can create your own fruit juices and smoothies, too. This area fills with the morning sun – such a pleasant and relaxing start to the morning!

My partner and I were given some money as a Xmas present to go out for dinner, we looked at menus on line and chose Plate.
The food was fantastic! The staff were also wonderful and the place was lovely, with a great atmosphere!
We will be back again very soon!

I was here for my birthday with four other friends. It was a lovely experience from start to finish! Dying to come again and try other items on the menu!

Had breakfast whilst staying in Wellington – lovely breakfast in a dining room filled with early morning sun.

Also dining later that evening proved most enjoyable and at prices that mean we will happily return.

Four of us dined at Plate last night after a last-minute booking. From start to finish, the service was attentive and informative without being overbearing. I had an entree of seared salmon on a tomato and mozzarella salad with basil lemon pesto – a delicious combination of flavours. My main of minted lamb rack was cooked medium rare, ie not tender but very tasty. We mistakenly ordered sides with our main meals, which were filling enough on their own. We were really pleased to find a quality restaurant open at this end of town on a Sunday night.

Plate restaurant was warm, welcoming and a relaxing atmosphere!! The staff were great and the food… was well worth it! Both the dinner and full buffet breakfast was outstanding, I recommend dinning at the Plate restaurant.
