poppy’s cafe would have to be my favourite place to go in town, i’ve always felt welcome the last few times i’ve been in with amazing coffee and a beauitful bnoffe pie (banana,caramel and coffee YUM!) i must admit there can be a small wait,but well worth it! there is great indoor outdoor flow with lovly backround music and i can’t wait to go in for my next cuppa.Top marks

The staff are miserable, the coffee tastes poo but the place looks ok. If I wanted this environment I would have gone to Mcdonalds.

I’ve been in there three times and I honestly don’t know why I went back the second or third time. On all occasions I’ve ordered a coffee that has taken a while to arrive. on the last (and final time) it took almost 20 minutes. And you can only say ‘did you order them for today’ a few times before you start getting annoyed. When we went to ask why the coffee was taking so long – by the way, the place was empty apart from us – the girl smarmily replied, oh, they’re just being made. Which was a lie, because noone was making coffees. So they were either just sitting there getting cold, or she was going to make them when she felt like it.
when they finally arrived, they were the wrong coffees and the milk was burnt.

You’ve got a better chance of getting a good coffee at Paper Plus across the road.
