Attempted to have brunch here on Sunday, which unfortunately did not happen. We were waiting for almost an hour and a half for our meals, and although the waiter did come and say there would be a delay and offered us complimentary coffee, it was just ridiculous to wait this long. It would have been understandable if the place was packed but there was only an average amount of people dining.

I came in today (queens Birthday) with my family for lunch and to my disappointment the foods were below standard. We expected the food to be excellent for the price we paid but however it was poorly executed in presentation, portions and taste. The meal I ordered was the “Big Breakfast” and first plate came to the table were covered with a strand of hair. That was enough to put me off my meal so i returned the plate back and got my meal back the second time and only to find that my big breakfast came with two less items. Further disappointment with my brother in law ordered a steak burger with no tomatoes (as he is allergic to it). The steak burger came to the table and was reassured by the waiter that it had no tomatoes in it and shockingly enough the tomatoes were in the steak burger. If he were to take a bite of the tomatoes he would’ve suffered an allergic reaction which may have hospitalized him and that could just ruined the reputation of your restaurant. Further more they did not freshly made the burger, they just took out the tomatoes and handed it back. The service was poor too, as the waiter wasn’t really doing their job properly. Lack of attention and details and the level of empathy was poor. At the end of the day though some discount were given, I was shocked to hear that my sister were grossly overcharged for her meal. I understand that this business has been around for long time and to have some chef and waiter ruining it for the business just because they can’t be bothered to work on “Queens Birthday” then may I suggest you to relay this remark across the staff for such low standard of hospitality or consider hiring more professional staff front and back.

Went there for a staff lunch:
Number 1) our waiter was terrible, couldn’t hear a word he said and looked like he hated working there.
The drinks waiter also quiet.
2) The drinks waiter started pouring red wine in our glasses when we had asked for white.
3)I asked the food waiter not to put tomatoes in my salad as I am allergic, he wrote it down, then when I got my meal my salad was put next to someone else, didn’t know it was mine for a while. Then when he said it was mine I saw it had tomatoes in it so I said I had asked for a salad without tomatoes. He took it away and when he brought it back I began eating it and could see tomato traces, he had only picked them out.
4)One meal took so long we had all finished our meals by the time it came out.
5) There were 2 random pepperoni pieces in a salmon salad.
6) We had booked for 12:30 turned up had lunch, then 3 hours later they called to ask if we were coming down, we told them we had already been there.

The meals were ok, my fish was a bit bland, it was like overpriced fish and chips really.

I hope this place shapes up, seems like a management problem to me, they have such a great location it seems like a waste.
