Why aren’t more people taking advantage of $20 lunches? The place was very quiet for lunch on a Monday and it was quite a lovely day. I had the calamari cristo and this dish is proof that one can be saved by a fantastic sauce. To say I liked it is a bit of an understatement, the sauce was devine! A savoury tangy lemon and citrus cream, yum! My partner had the veal masala. The masala, which by the time had been brought to us had split, reminded me more of a vanilla custard. It was slightly on the sweet
side, and tasted a bit odd with the veal. Service was great, although I do feel he tried a little to hard towards the end and I felt he was hovering. Would I come back again? More than likely, why wouldn’t you take up on a $20 lunch?

Portofino in Parnell is nice. Go there instead. There one is a lemon. I have been a bunch of times and am always disappointed. It can turn into a default choice as the rest of whats left in Mission Bay is generally quite poor. You have a choice, leave.
