My partner took me to The Post Restaurant last week for our anniversary. Food was delicious and very well presented, dessert to die for and reasonably priced. There was a excellent selection of local wine and even a local beer on the menu. Wait staff ambience was great! They showed initiative when they saw the sun shining in my eyes the friendly waitress offered to put the blinds down for me. Beautifully decorated old post office. Definitely worth a visit if you want great food and excellent service! Well Done The Post!!!

Our family met at The Post for a pre christmas get together, after it was recommended to us. We were all very disappointed with our meals. The young staff didn’t seem very organised but were polite. The manager appeared to be very grumpy and did not smile the whole time we were there. We won’t be back.

September 2010 – had a wonderful night out, thoroughly enjoyed our meals and especially the Signature Dish. Loved the succulent lamb and the tortellini! Can highly recommend this place, definitely a place to go if you want friendly service and innovative food cooked to perfection. Good value for money too. Nice wine list.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening out, staff were very pleasant and meals great. Esp loved the salmon and the signature lamb dish with pistachio crust was delicious.
Desert was equally as good, only complaint was the desert tasting platter was no longer on the menu!
Will def return and recommend to others.

August 2010 – Starting with the entree, they ran out of a menu item, and tried to serve something in its place without asking. The mains were dissapointing – a dry, small portion of overcooked chicken, garnished with a few small pieces of vegetables. The atmosphere was loud, foul mouthed, with young rowdy people making it unenjoyable. The manager made no attempt to quieten these people, and made him self quite scarce for the rest of the dinner service. The two young wait people did well considering the number of complaints from other diners , and the manager leaving them to face unhappy customers. The chef and manager made themselves scarce upon payment, at which we wish we never made. We would never go back or recommend – there are plenty of fine dining places, which this place clearly isn’t in our opinion.

Very tasty & interesting menu, accompanied with a great wine selection to fit all budgets. Bubbly staff and owners couldn’t do enough to please, even letting us choose the music we wanted. Definitely worth a visit and will return on our next visit to the Village.

An interesting building with more than adequate seating and levels of privacy. The waiting staff are fast and efficient, the wine service excellent, and the food is well organised and carefully cooked and presented. It is excellent restaurants for Grandma, and for those who have passed the hot dog age, and appreciate the finer points of cooking. A most enjoyable dining experience.
