Fresh fish and real chips made on the premises. Our food is made from local and nz ingredients where possible and free from additives and preservatives.
Friday to Sunday we offer an extended menu such as… our fast becoming famous scallops wrapped in bacon with a crispy panko coating, fresh donuts and cakes made in-house, premium quality fish e.g. grilled tuna, hapuku, monk fish, king fish, bluenose all dependant on availability.
We only use free range meat from soggy bottom holdings in our burgers and free range chicken from waitoa farms supplied by dinsdale poultry.
Our chips are made daily from waikato grown agria or markie potatoes fried in New Zealand grown GM free canola oil which is filtered every second day. All our menu items are made on site using only quality ingredients there are no preservatives , soy, dairy or corn based additives in our food. We process our used frying oil into bio-diesel which is used to run our vehicles.

I found Provincial Chip Co to be awesome and they should be congratulated for their fare. The only way to get large portions at rock bottom prices is to buy the cheapest products available and cook them in the cheapest cooking medium available, doing either or both ends in an inferior end product. Clearly the good people at PCC are aiming for high quality healthy food and they are achieving it.
People need to remember that the feeling of a full stomach disappears rapidly, but the wonderful sensation of great tasting food remains in the memory forever.
Keep up the good work guys and girls, let’s lift this market to new heights from the abyss it’s been lowered to.
