Really creative and well priced food. surprisingly cute cafe. would go again.

Definitely the best coffee in Glen Eden without a doubt. Have only really snacked there, so can’t comment on the meals, but the snacks are always very tasty and well presented. Best thing – I have never had a ‘scorched’ milk cappuccino there (you know, when it tastes as sour as hell), thank goodness, and the staff are always very friendly. I bring my little girl and my rather large, well-behaved dog, and they both love it there… they give the little one marshmallows and the dog gets a bowl of water and titbits from the kitchen.

have eaten there a few times now, very nice food – definitely recommended. reasonably priced as well. friendly staff. i go there most weekends – love it.

very dissapointing! The waitress looked like she wanted to be elsewhere and i dont think she smiled once while we were there. The food wasnt the greatest, i think we left half our plates there. We wont be back – which is a shame as it is very local to where we live

Food Was pretty standard, and reasonably priced, however service was very slow and and poor as the waitress forgot half of the things we asked for.

I had been told this was a great place to have breakfast, however I was very disappointed, the hollandaise sauce tasted like it was out of a packet, the eggs were rubbery and overcooked and the coffee was awful, the first one was so bad i could not drink it even with two sugars added so they re-made it for me (service was very friendly and helpful)the second was even worse, so I gave up, but what appalled me the most was when I ordered a takeaway hot choc for my daughter I was charged an extra 30c for having it takeaway (this charge was not mentioned anywhere on the menu) needless to say I will not be returning to this cafe in the near future

We ordered a ‘build your own’ breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, hash brown and toast. The bacon and eggs were fine, but the hash was not cooked long enough – the potato was still quite crisp and had that raw-ish taste.

For coffee’s we ordered a trim latte and soy mocha. The latte was fine, but the mocha came with standard milk. On querying this, the mocha was promptly remade.

Perhaps they were just having a bad day; the service was ok, but the food and coffee just didn’t really come up to scratch.

a great little cafe in the heart of west auckland. great coffee and excellent food. catered to several special requests, not a problem. Can see why it has won Metro Cafe awards two years running, the staff are fantastic!!!!! A hidden Gem worth visiting!!!!!!!!!
