We went to Purple House a month ago for a girls catchup and we loved it. The food was fresh and delicious and our host was lovely and spoke with us when she was free. We will definately be back. And highly reccomend Purple House Cafe to all.

I regularly go to The Purple House Cafe for coffee and brunch at the weekend. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the food is lovely and all home made, and the coffee, well what can I say, best on the Coast. I love it. Thoroughly recommend you trying it.

The perfect place to stop when travelling to Wellington – out of the hustle and bustle, reasonable prices, deeeeeee-lish-iss food. A must for locals and out-of-towners – turn left at the lights and behind the train station – handy for a coffee on the run to catch the train too! Can even buy your lunch (or dinner on the way home on a Thursday night) at the same time.

Arrived there recently for a coffee with my sister in law and our 4 kids. Were extremely welcoming, helping with prams and grabbing high chairs and toys for the youngsters. Food was lovely and resonably priced and coffee was good. We will definately be returning.
