A person came to the table whom I assumed was the owner who proceeded to lecture me on what a medium rare steak was supposed to be like!!! I found this rude and him arrogant. I own a very good restaurant and if I served steak like that I’d have complaints all day. I would never EVER speak to customer like that no matter what the problem was.
The rest of the meals were very average for the price. The open chicken sandwich was more like a salad with chicken.
Sorry, but I won’t be back, nor, given the attitude of the person who came to the table, will I be recommending it to anyone else.
A memorable lunch and we will be definitely returning soon.
The wine recommendations complimented each dish and the service was relaxed yet attentive.
The Quarter Acre’s innovative menu will satisfy the most exacting palate and I guarantee you will want to return.
A thoroughly enjoyable evening and our compliments to the chefs, management and staff.
Fantastic, relaxing setting, cosy on cold days and great oudoor setting when sunny.
Have had both blackboard and cabinet food and both are tasty. Only suggestion would be some more panini or filled rolls as sometimes the cabinets can be low, and if you dont want to pay more for the menu food you can feel a bit stuck.
It’s a shame they are not open for dinner as I think that is what we need around here.
