We came here for the first time. The Wedges with bacon were tasty and if it came with a small salad would have been a good meal at good value.($9.50)
The pizza was average, not great, average. The ladies were very friendly and apologetic for our wait time and I could see it getting busy so did not mind so much as we were not in a rush and were offered a small ice cream, which was appreciated.
If strolling by at lunch or dinner and had lots of time and wanted to just chill and read the paper and had a craving for some wedges I would walk in. Ice cream was yummy, place was clean and service was easy going.

On new years day when the place had a Line out the door, we recieved two delicious pizzas, within 20 minutes, the staff were friendly and fun.

I would happily eat here again.

I adore the gourmet pizza at Quattro.

Amazing – my only quibble is that the last 3 times I have had the Kim’s Special (my favourite) it has been so hot my mouth has been numb which reduced my enjoyment of the flavour.

I always order it mild but the last time I ordered I mentioned this and asked for the chilli to be toned down but the problem was exactly the same.

I normally would order a medium in an Indian restaurant so for me to find the mild unbearably hot suggests the problem is not me.

I should add that the 3 times it was too hot for me it was made by a male. The first 2 times I ordered it and it was perfect it was made by a blonde woman.

That said, I still love Quattro. Their coffee is awesome, their wraps are awesome, the ice-cream is amazing and the staff are all lovely.

Absolutely Dreadful customer service! and the food was nothing special either.
We visited on Saturday afternoon, and took a table which hadnt been wiped down or cleared properly (none of them had actually so we just picked the least messy one assuming that a staff member would come and clear it for us shortly, sadly this never happened)
We ordered our food and were told that it would take 15-20 minutes. 1 hour later our food came! Looks like the place is being run entirely by school students as I didnt notice a senior staff member there the whole time.
We had to go back and ask for cuttlery and there were no clean glasses available for water.
Terrible service and the food was meh. Wasted $50 bucks
Judging by some other recent reviews here looks like other patrons have had similar experiences. tut tut

they have an excellent selection of food and gourmet icecreams, its a nice little place to sit in and eat or you can takeaway. they are great value for money and the place is clean!

We used to go there often (at least once a week). The last few times we have been there I must say we left utterly disappointed. Apart from waiting for about an hour for our food (after being told it would be about 20mins) we received our food and it was completely raw!! The pasta we still very chewy and stiff!! And after waiting for so long we did not feel like waiting for another hour to get cooked food, so we didn’t complain, we just left our food and got up.
On another instance we placed our order and again had to wait for about 40mins. They brought our order and it wasn’t right. (seafood salad instead of Caesar, 2 garlic breads instead of one, 3 pastas instead of 4. Although the order was rung up correctly.) We complained and did not receive a great response from the kitchen staff at all. After waiting another 20mins we received our order correctly but the manner in which the food was delivered was terrible. The plates were almost thrown at us. Not good.
So the last time we were there, we had international visitors with us and we were (despite our last few experiences) raving about this place. We got there at 7:40pm. We wanted to order some food and take it away. The guy behind the counter said that they were closing so we cant order anymore food. We were very unhappy. So we decided just to have coffee instead and again the guy behind the counter showed us away saying that they have already closed down the coffee machine and that we could not have anything. When we asked him what time they closed, he said at 8pm. We were so disappointed and truly unhappy. I went home and searched for their opening hours on-line and it said that they are open 10am-10pm daily. Obviously not!!
After the last experience we swore never to go back again and we haven’t been back for almost a year.
I must say that we will never go back after our string of bad experiences. I would not recommend them to anyone ever again!!

If you do not want to be disappointed, do not go there!!

We went to this restaurant based on the 41/2 star rating on this web site. We were greatly dissapointed, the food was disgusting and inedible. The carbonara was just cream and cheese and the hawain pizza was nothing but processed ham and cheese. All this said the staff were lovely, but i wont be going back.

I’ve been here a few times, the food is very good but we waited a whole hour for our mediterranean kebab order! They were also very dishonest about how long it was going to take, if we had known we would have gone else where, nobody has an hour to waste for a 2 minute meal. So if you see this place busy, go somewhere else.

I work next door and the pizza and ice cream have always been excellent. The owner is great to deal with and they have an excellent product. They serve Movenpick ice cream which you can’t go wrong with. Outdoor seating gives you a great view of the ocean.

Quattro Orewa. You were unbelievable. I was recomended by a local person to try their pizzas. Well i tried their Smoked Chicken pizza and it was nothing short of sensational. Although not the cheapest pizza around but they make up for it on taste and the amount of toppings they put on it. I am going back there in the weekend.

I got told it was only a pizza and pasta shop but they are selling Altura coffees and all of those ranges. I had a cappucino and this is dead set serious. I have never ever had better. I have been to almost every cafe in Auckland and many in Sydney. This lady who i later found out had over 10 years expereince making them gave me the very best ever. I asked her what the secret was as i have simply never tried better. She mentioned apart from high quality coffee beans that the art to making a great cuppa was the way she frothed the milk. She also mentioned that the pressure put on the grounded coffee needed to be just right or it would taste too bitter or too weak.

Lastly but not least. I tried a sample of their Rush Munro’s Ice Cream and it was bloody great. Although i didnt buy one because i was too full, the lady ofered me to try a sample taste of it. She gave me the passionfruit and it really fruity taste. Aparently they are the only one that sells it up there and to be quite frank, i had never heard of the ice cream before. In saying that, if you love ice cream then you will love this Rush Munro’s.

Kim, the lady’s name was, said she is also going to be making belguin waffles along with crepes starting this weekend if all goes to plan. This place is really trendy. Thanks Quattro, you turned a good day into a great one.

I always love to visit quattro, there food is simply superb and the service is excellent. There kebabs are really nice and are a steal for the price.

I am writing this because I am shocked at the other comment.. I visit Quattro at least once a week and have never had a problem. The portion sizes of the salads are pretty standard and not over priced. Hells Pizza charges about ten dollars for salads half the size. and the chicken fett is always amazing for twelve dollars it is a bargain at a restaurant you would pay at least eighteen for the same product.

We went there as we had heard that they make good food but unfortunately we were left feeling completely dissapointed. The cabonara was the worst I have ever tried and the cesar salad was over priced for the quantity and was so bad I wouldnt feed it to my dog. Im not sure what people rave about but I definately will not be telling friends to visit Quattro
