Took Ma and Pa out for a Mothers Day treat with my partner, for dinner on a Saturday night, we booked, and luckily we did – as it was fairly busy. The young waitress was hugely helpful – though, did not pour our BYO wine which was odd, she did however spy we had bubbles with us and supplied us with flutes which was nice.
The four of us had bread/dips and three entrees to share… all entrees were amazing, the squid was delightful and in particular the pork/prawn combo was amazing… the duck salad was good too according to Pa.
Four mains order ranging from fish of the day, a chicken curry and 2 steaks medium. All food was very nicely cook and myself and partner could not fault the steak. Veges on the side were fabulous too.
Ma and Partner had puddings, both excellent.
Wow, I do hope Quince keeps up the good work, finally somewhere worth going to for a treat night out in Warkworth!!!
Really happy. I’ll definately give Quince another go.
Have not been for breaky/lunch, but would highly recommend the dinner menu, and being BYOW is a real help for the budget, four adults well fed for $210. I’m pleased!!

3.5 stars. Have dined here for brunch many times now. Not sure why I keep coming back. I absolutely hate the menu – nothing really appeals to me. The coffee is average to good, but never excellent. The prices are way too high for a cafe – these are restaurant prices. Our family of three and a half seldom leave without spending $60-70 for breakfast. However, I like the decor and the fact that you don’t have to wait for a table or the food for long. The staff are helpful, patient and friendly. Perhaps I keep coming back because there is nothing better in Warkworth right now. Definitely room for improvement though.

Fantastic. We’ve been going there for some time and it never fails to hit the spot. The food is great and service probably the best we,ve experienced in New Zealand.
For regulars, the good thing is that the menu changes every now and again and every new dish is worth waiting for.
Love the place!

What a gem!Have dined here half a dozen times now and on each occasion the experience has been faultless. A great combination of creative dishes, stylish presentation and courteous service. This is the cafe Warkworth has been waiting for – it was worth the wait!

Quince is a great addition to dining to Watkworth. Nice small local wine list & The ONLY BYO.. The Food is tasty, well presented & satisfying . The added bonus at Quince is the great staff.

YUM YUM YUM, we were travelling up north and just happened to stumble upon this cute little cafe called Quince which is in Warkworth. Georgous coffee, great service and talk about the best cake I’ve ever had! I tried their eccle cake and my goodness…heavenly! I wanted more and when we drove back through and their doors were closed I was soooo disappointed I could buy another eccle cake and one to take home to my husband. The lady behind the counter was helpful when asked a question about the town. It made our trip up north pleasurable and next time we’re up that way, we’d definitely return.

I’ve dined at Quince about 3 times now, and I LOVE IT! I will continue to go back there. The first time was on a Saturday night, they were very very busy adn there were no available tables at that stage. Our host was most helpful by offereing us a glass of local wine and a seat outside, while we waited for a table. Once the table was ready, all staff were very efficient at beverage service and had our orders taken. Both other times i’ve been there was for brunch. Once again all staff were ever so helpful, and continualy assisted us. Most enjoy and will most be going back!!

We called in to Quince recently on a Saturday night as there was no other choice than the local pub. The waitpeople seemed disorganised and we witnessed a bit of eye-rolling between them! The wine list is pitiful. They have only Chardonnay by the glass – if you want a glass of Sauvingnon Blanc (voted NZ’s favourite wine), you have to buy a bottle. (Too bad if you have to drive after your meal.) “Rip off” we thought, so we didn’t bother with wine. The meals were very average, the steak was tough and the chicken rubbery and appeared to have been microwaved. We would not return to Quince.

Popped into Quince early on a Friday evening. Seated very efficiently and pleasantly. It just got better and better. Asmall selection of good local wines reasonably priced. Water came without having to ask–in a carafe that was replaced as needed. Four or five choices for each course plus blackboard specials. Something for everyone. What we chose arrived just about spot on for timing and no complaints about quality, presentation, portions. About spot on. Room for a shared desert. Not very many places serve a panacotta! Very good and excellent coffee to finish. Looking forward to stopping in Warkworth and visiting Quince again.
