We went to the Rabbit Hole on a lovely summers morning, and was a pleasure to sit out the back on the deck.
Service was very attentive and helpful.
Food was of excellent quality and everyone in my party enjoyed their food. Coffee was some of the best I have tasted. Great!
Thoroughly recommended.

My family and I passed by this discreet looking (on the outside) cafe and ventured in. The little folk loved the mural and the back deck and tucked into a shared plate of hotcakes with gusto. The healthy breakies, cheese scones and coffee delicious! The young staff, welcoming, friendly and nothing was a bother. Will be back in Akld soon and seems like this could become a regular haunt. Keep it up guys.

Wow… and that’s how I feel a day later. My wife and I stopped in for lunch. Her the fish cakes with gourmet sausage sides and me with the steak sandwich and haloumi sides.
I had the haloumi because I had no idea what it was. If you’ve never had haloumi before give it a go. I’ll certainly order that side again.
The food here just tastes so good. It’s clear the owners put a lot into making the food enjoyable.
This place is just such delight to eat at.

Stopped by for Sunday brunch at this cafe and what a wonderful cafe it is! Food was fabulous, staff were so friendly, coffee was perfect and my little girls just loved the delightful cupcakes they had! We will definately be back to try some more of their delicious treats! Highly recommended to all!

the first thing that attracted me to this place (apart from the fact that it was called the rabbit hole) was the fact that it said “organic coffee, organic food” and I was really happy to have found a place in Herne Bay that did organic food! I am a devout follower of the organic. I walked in and after waiting a while as the barrista seemed very busy, a woman came in from outside and greeted me and took my order-it seemed odd to me as i had assumed she was a customer because she had been standing talking on her mobile for the whole time i had been standing there. I ordered a flat white to go and a salmon bagel- the coffee was fantastic the stressed out girl at the counter obviously knew what she was doing. I took my bagel and left and was about to eat it in my car when i realized that i had seen a pandoro box( i regularly avoid them as they are not exclusively organic) I am not sure but i got the impression that not much of the rest was actually organic and i did not eat it.I left wondering what proportion of the menu was in fact organic and think that if you are going to put organic food on the window it should all be organic! very disappointed!
Went here for the first time on Sunday, and though a small space, was very impressed by both the menu and the service. Staff was able to recommend a range of dishes, making our choice very difficult! Duck risotto, chicken salad and the poached eggs with a side of mushrooms were all fabulous. Would definitely recommend.
