Went here for the first time, mostly the food was great with wonderful choice of authentic Indian food. Very disappointed though that we gave him our voucher from the “Entertainment Book” and the discount he gave was $3……it should have been $20……hence we probably wont be back….& yes he knew what he was doing…..why be in the book when you are not moral enough to do what is right…!!!

Always really good food and the service is fabulous…always see a lot of Indians there so it must be good !!

It’s the best Indian restaurant in Auckland. Food is always good. Must say if you actually want eat Indo Chinese food then it’s the best place to dine in. Totally love the food here.
I would recommend this restaurant to all the Indians, I can bet on this that you won’t get the better authentic food than Rangoli.

Best Indian restaurant in all over Auckland. Food is exceptional and the service is too good. I always go there.
The food gives you the feeling of home away from home and if we see the service you will see the smile on the staff’s face. Food is the made from the same authentic touch as it was back home.
Going to the same place from last 2 years and will keep on going again and again.

Went there on Tuesday 1st Jan with my three friends. It was my 1st time there and was a lovely experience, would love to go back there again. The food was really nice and the service was exceptional. The staff looked very courteous and service was very prompt and would love to visit there again!!!

Rangoli is one of the best restaurant in Auckland. It was a good experience , food was good and service was good. Food was excellent – tasty, interesting, and well prepared. Staff was very friendly specially Sandy ….she assit us in a good way, what a lovely smile she got. I will definitely recommend that place to my friends.

The most terrible service that I have ever received from a Restaurant.

Went there on Saturday with family(4 people), the restaurant looked busy, we ordered our favorite chicken lollipop first and were deciding on mains.. ordered mains of 2 chicken curries, and some plain naan and mince naan.. the chicken lollipop came after 30 minutes and smelt of Fish oil and uncooked chicken! Called the waitress and owner a couple of times who all seemed too busy to come to our table.. when they finally came they took the smelly lollipops back and advised they will order a fresh lot for us.. no apologies.. our main arrived 20 minutes later but with plain naan and chilly naan, when we advised that the naan order was wrong they took back the entire naan order and left the curries on the table to get cold.. the correct naan arrived 10 minutes later, didn’t really enjoy them with cold curries! The chicken lollipops arrived 10 mins after we had completed our meal.. don’t know what took them an hour to be made?…they didn’t taste that great either! Tried again to call the owner to our table but he was busy entertaining a group of people right opposite our table and looked away again..

Went to pay the bill, again no apologies. I had to personally approach the owner and complain to him about the appalling service and food… and all I got was a sorry! no complimentary stuff no reduction in bill, nothing! The next day suffered from a tummy ache..I wonder y… never going back again!

the decor was simple and elegant and spacious

the waitress was lovely very attentive..

the food was superb

we left very satisfied with the food, service and prices

Went to Rangoli with some guests from India. And they were really surprised, this Restautrant serves the best and authentic Indain Food in NZ. Loved the food, sevice and atmosphere. Will recomend this palce to all Indian Food lovers. Typical Mumbai taste.

Not a huge fan of Indian food in NZ, however plesantly surprised by my experience at Rangoli. Usually prefer meat, however chose the vegetarian option considering the unique dishes they had on the menu that most Indian restaurants don’t. The okra and fenugreek dishes were both delicious. Service was prompt and friendly. They also have Indo-chinese on the menu which is a bonus! Overall very impressed and will recommend to others.

Went for the first time Sat night, this wont be our last. The food was excellant, great atmosphere and friendly service.

One of the best Indian and Indo-Chinese Fusion food restaurant this side of world. I love to visit their restaurant, good ambience , friendly staff and really tasty food.

Have been going to Rangoli for last 3 years and never went to any other Indian restaurant. I love the Indian Chinese food- Infact my kids are so fond of the Chicken Lollipops that we pre-order it. Love the food its good value for money. The staff are also very friendly.

Great food and service ! Ordered a banquet for 4 as a takeaway for a dinner party and was delighted with the quality and quantity of the food. It was ready on time and way too much for 4 people and great value.Highly recommended and very friendly staff.
