We visit the Red Flame once a month or so, there’s always a good choice of dishes in the all-you-can-eat and the full menu is reasonably priced. Staff will stop to chat if you want, and importantly,it’s clean. A Wanganui asset.

Went for lunch, experience was completely dire. Was just after 1pm, staff were hanging about in the restaurant impatiently waiting for us to leave and talking really loudly, were visibly annoyed when another couple came in not long after us. We were only able to order European off menu, we came for Thai though, which was only available from the warmer – two types of very very runny and very sweet curry, some veggie mush, and about 2 cups of rice… we took all the rice and the couple that came after us missed out, but no more was brought out. The curries were awful, partner didn’t finish his meal which is almost unheard of, we left after being there for about 15 minutes, had enough of the evil looks from staff and the dubious nature of the food.

Eat there often, very friendly service, love the food and flavours! made as hot or mild as liked, beautiful, highly recommend!!!
