Renkon at Durham St East is my favourite place to eat. It is the only Renkon i have found that does the miso udon chicken dish which is amazing. The meals come out extremely fast and the staff are delightful.

This is probably my favorite place to eat in the CBD. Sometimes it’s hard to get in, but it’s worth the wait. The food is always great, no matter what you order. Try the teriyaki chicken udon as a cure for a nasty cold.

I agree with all the previous reviews. I love the food at Renkon. The meats are cooked to perfect juicy tenderness. They also have a vegetarian menu – which I have not yet tried. My personal favorite is the Miso Katsu Chicken.

This is only the second time I have Japanese food (I know!!) and after the lunch I just had there I will definitely go back!The Katsu Chicken Curry was just delicious! And am a bit of a princess when it comes to food..!Great value for money!

I love this place.
Awesome Teriyaki and Katsu dishes.
They put the sauce right to the bottom of the bowl.
Great prices for $11 a main.
Also love their Karage-like popcorn chicken and the edamame beans.
Highly reccommend.

I love this place! it is the best food ever! I think I might even go as far as to say it is my favourite eat out place.

I eat here regularly (like, once a fortnight for a couple of years) and it is fantastic! Fresh, authentic, food combined with friendly service makes for a great lunch-time option.

Great for a quick authentic Japanese meal! Good choice on the menu. I would recommend as I have been back loads of times.

They got us a table right away and the service was great! The menu is simple, but what you get is definitely worth it. The quality of their udon and miso are exceptional. Highly recommended!
