A small place, not bad, very tiny for dine in. Taste OK and well priced.Went back few times and good for a good takeaway or a quick dinner.

It is impossible to go past a Yaki Niku Beef on rice for a tasty and inexpensive takeaway meal midweek. The servings are a bit smaller than its rival down the road East but you also pay less. So for us which option is often decided on the hunger levels!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! sorry that was just me orgasaming at their food. I go to renkon every week and have been ever since an old friend introduced me to the place five years ago. I still cannot get over how fantasic their food is.They are really the only place that I over eat without feeling guilt!! I have introduced the place to many friends over the years and we are all very loyal customers to them. They should really put up their price as what you get is worth triple what they charge.Unfortunatly I am off overseas at the end of the year and believe you me I will miss their food more than I’ll miss my family!! In the meantime I’ll be gorging myself till that day comes.

Love the great value for money. However, based on tonight’s dinner wherein I was told on the phone that my food would be 10 minutes, and only after those ten, and a further 30 sat in the restaurant, I received my order – Renkon, I give you three… I’ll still go back as we did still (somewhat ravenously) enjoy our food! Next time, I may well boost your grade a smidge too!

I am a regular to this place.
Great prices at $11 a main which are very filling.
They do awesome Teriyaki and Katsu dishes.
Always good service.

Great food at great prices; ideal if you can’t make a decision as to what take away you fancy. Only downfall is that some of the menu dishes are a little samey.

A total favourite amongst my friends, excellent food, friendly staff, never had a bad experience.
Best of all you can order your food to be delivered next door to Mea Culpa!

We are regulars for Renkon takeaways – except we get the same thing each time! Teriyaki chicken, karaage chicken, miso soup and the prawn cutlets – all fantastic and healthy – well apart from the karaage chicken and the prawn cutlets for him. It’s just that they feel healthy! Friendly staff as well.

Fantastic food and service! – One of my favourite places. Only downside is they close too early! Highly recommend the chicken teriyaki and a side of karaage. Nyum nyum

The meal Katsu Sauce is amazing!
I’d go there every day if i could. I’ve been to this Renkon and the one in town and have never had any problems. Great price too, $10 for a large and only $6 for a smaller half size which is actually very filling for such a great price

Very nice food and nice staff. They have a bar next door (Mea Cupla) who will serve you drinks with your meal. My favourite is #3 Karrarage Chicken on rice. I have never heard anyone not liking Renkon

Yummy food only $10 a bowl choice of toppings (salmon,chicken,beef,pork and tofu). Fast service helpful staff.
