I headed back here after hearing they were under new ownership. the restaurant was dirty, staff stood around doing nothing and the service was lacking. the food was still good value but the new owners really need to pull their socks up before the family and I return.

I used to like going here for the value lunches.
THE SERVICE IS TOP CLASS. THERE IS A YOUNG BLONDE GIRL WAITRESSING WHO IS VERY ATTENTIVE AND FRIENDLY AND MAKES YOU FEEL VERY WELCOME.
But the food is not that great anymore.
My medium steak was rare. It was actually bleeding. The waitress took it back so it could be cooked some more, but it came back still pretty rare, just browner on the outside.
I really used to like this place for lunch but I feel sick just thinking about that pink chewy steak.

Went for a lunch there with two friends. Was our second trip back and both times had very enjoyable lunches. Most recently we had the pizzas which I think was the best pizza i have had in ages and very filling! compliments of the chef and staff who were friendly and nothing was a problem. will definately be a regular from now!

I went there for lunch with my 2 daughters.
The facilities are very good, and the atmosphere was good.
We ordered off the $10 lunch menu. The service was just how I like it , not too much attention not too little.
The meals were all excellent for the money, I had bangers and mash and daughters has Steak sandwich,and seafood chowder, they were all very tasty and I have paid much more for lesser quality and taste in other restaurants.
It was very nice being able to pay so little for a beer as well, My girls had juices from the soft drinks menu and were pleased with them.
Overall a very pleasant experience and very cheap a great place for lunch for a Family.

Had a birthday dinner here last Saturday, super friendly staff, food was tasty and great value and we even got up and had a dance afterwards – being old fogies it’s not that often we find a good venue to hit all the bases! Give rever a go, we will certainly be back!

Great place to get a good meal at an economic price. Drinks well kept ( haven’t tried the soft drinks so can’t comment) easy going atmosphere with attentive staff who don’t intrude – some good training there! will visit frequently.

Very disappointed with the meals that we had here. The deep fried brie came frozen in the middle and went back to the kitchen and came back warm on the outside but still cold in the middle and the texture had gone funny from being frozen. The caesar salad came without palmasan and had to be returned to the kitchen as the chef forgot to put it on! The chicken carbanara was not nice at all, little cubes of chicken swimming in an awful sauce. This was our second meal here, the first about a year ago was slightly better and we thought we’d give it another go. We won’t be eating there again.

Good location, great staff and cheap food. They do skimp a lot on quality tho on the $10 menu but still leave full. I think with all the other $10 lunches around you could get better somewhere else but worth a try.

Soft drinks are crap!!! They are always flat and very much soda-ry! Nice cocktails selection tho.

Went for lunch today. It was quite busy, and took a wee while to get our orders taken, but once they took our orders, they were very quick. I ordered from the $10 menu, it is quite good value. I would like to go back and try something else off the menu. The drinks from the tap (ie Coke) are crap though. They tasted like budget cola which is yucko.
I went again for lunch and got something different off the $10 menu. I accept that they try and “jazz it up” but you can tell they try to do the meal on the cheap.

I thought this place was great!! The staff were friendly so much that we arrived at 4.30pm (dinner doest start until 5.30) the chef who was sitting at the bar kindly said he would start at 5pm was great!! Our order was taken and the starters arrived within minutes. The bar staff were very friendly and the food was great Enjoyed it very very much well definitely be back

Went part of a group of 15 late on a Sunday lunchtime. Generous portions for a $10.00 lunch. Staff were patient with ordering. Looking forward to next visit.

The first time we went there the food was very expensive and it cost us $60 for lunch. We went back with a group in the weekend and they now have $10 lunches. I don’t think you can find better value for that anywhere in Pukekohe. The food is outstanding and the bar is very modern (and even has a television in the toilet). Highly recommended.

Amazing that its taken this long for Pukekohe to get a friendly, clean and up to date bar and kitchen! The staff seemed to be having a ball, the food was great value at $10 and the speed was spot on. Recommended for a casual get together with friends or a great value meal with your partner (without breaking tha bank). And dont forget the toilets… best in pukekohe!
