this place is disgusting!!!!

sold us bad fish then when i went down to discuss it with them they told me i was wrong

said that it had only be defrosted for 2 days and was fine???

Riba Fish & Chips in Devonport is absolutely excellent. You only have to wait about 10 minutes. The chips are nice and crisp, not oily or greasy and they are made with vegetable oil. They are the best chips in Auckland. Their burgers are great as is the rest of the food on their menu.

I went to Riba with a group friends, as we wanted to have some chips and ignore the temptations of Bramptins! We ordered the large portion of chips($6) with two tins of tomato sauce ($2ea). The chips came within 5minutes and every chip was cooked perfectly!they were seasoned and had the perfect crunchy outside. The chips weren’t greasy or oily either, which was very pleasant! I suppose the only downside was that the large portion of chips could really only feed 2-3people, not 5. We were hoping that the portions would be the same as another chip shop, where apparently the chips taste like cardboard (which is why we didn’t go there.) Overall a great meal.
