Nice easy going place to dine in with a relaxed atmosphere and a nice range of food. Really good for takeaways also, we LOVE the kumara chips with home made aioli – nice short wait for our orders made over the phone with the friendly staff

This is just a brilliant place to come to not matter what you have been doing. I have been in there with all sorts of things going on, Ann and Dave are just outstanding hosts. Food is excellent and service is above that

I live on the waterfront and I often walk along the Marina. I’ve ordered food from Ripples numerous times. One thing I can say about their cheeseburgers is when you get to the last two bites of the cheeseburger I seem to get this kind of sick feeling but no one else does. To me it is the melted cheese but I often order their cheeseburgers which is nice. I like their fish too. But one thing that catches me is that depending on who takes your order the food amount differs by a big amount. i.e. If I order $2.00 chips one today I might get worth 3 people. Tomorrow if I order $2.00 is enough for one person. Then some times if I order $3 for three people I get barely enough for two people. Which makes me kind of angry when they do that. Another thing to mention is their hand writing on the menu display board. To me a reading one piece of Hoki is $2.30 but the lady tells me it is $2.50 but their handwriting is poor nd their fives looks like threes and I don’t know what their threes look like. It makes it all hard to read on the board.

The food there is good. But also comes expensive but not expensive to buy every two weeks for moderation etc etc…

They are quick at making your order, and when I preorder it takes me no more than five minutes to walk from where I live to them an the food is apparently done within 3-4mins 2 minimum which is fast. The reason I notice this my previous place I lived at on the North Shore I would pre order and walk five mins and I would have to wait 10 to 15 minutes and that was when they’re not busy. So Ripples is fast.

On my opinion I wouldn’t spend most of my money with them.

My advice is if you have a licence and you can drive your self and you’re at home 80% of the time then drive to the mall or to Wendy’s or Subway. Because there you’ll get value with your money and food that actually is made by trained persons from bit companies.

But if you’re just looking for a light meal after working on your boat or car or even have friends over then Ripples is good for those types.
