Called into Robbies Kaikoura on our way home from Nelson, thinking we would get a quick meal as we arrived before 6pm. The place wasn’t overly busy, so after 45 minutes of waiting for our meals I asked how much longer they would be. The waitress snapped “didn’t you get told how long the wait would be?”, which I hadn’t. A couple of minutes later two of our meals arrived, but I was told I would have to wait a bit longer for mine. When it finally arrived with no apology whatsoever, the chicken was dry and tough and the meal was certainly not worth $28. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be going back.
