Have had many visits to Rossendale and they never fail to please – menu changes according to the season but they usually retain the favourites. Food is always well presented and complimented by a selection of wines including those from their own vineyards. Thoroughly recommended

My husband and I came to dinner last night for the Valentine’s Day menu.
What a wonderful time we had. The food and entertainment were delightful, but all kudos to the staff, in particular our waiter. The service was impeccable, down to leaving us some down time in between our main and dessert. We appreciate that such service is not to be taken for granted and wanted to pass on our thanks for a lovely evening.

Of course I am telling all my friends and work colleagues about our evening.

We used to be regulars diners at Rossendale’s and always reccommended it to others. Seven of us dined there recently and when our mains were brought out there was one small bowl of vegetables to share between 7. After discussing this with the waitresses they eventually brought out some more vegetables. When we went to order dessert we were informed that they had run out of 3 of the desserts which didnt leave a lot of choice. All in all very dissapointing and none of us have been back since.

I have eaten at Rossendales a few times now, both in the restaurant and recently there as part of a large group for an 80th birthday celebration. On all occasions the food and service was faultless, the staff went to extra ordinary lengths to make sure all was good. the food was superb along with very good wines. Would highly recommend for a function or a private gathering.

The most superbly prepared meal we have enjoyed to date. The service could not be faulted. Sadly the decor is a little tired and the wine selection and quality leaves a little to be desired- quite ironic considering it is a winery! Comes highly recommended on the food alone- fabulous!!
