Me and my partner go there at least 3 times a week now with the new owner we have never had and problems nor have we ever had the need to complain.
Alan the owner is so friendly and goes out of his way to make sure everything is to your liking.

My friends and i go to rubys most weeks for dinner and drinks, the service is excellent and the staff are very friendly. The camembert salad is delicious!

Galaxy, you just said it yourself, two LARGE GROUPS, did you want to eat at the same time with the rest of you’re table or did you want to get your (probably the kiddie meal by the sounds of you’re attitude) before you’re partner’s (probably not likely but just an example) steak which take s longer to cook. I go to Ruby’s every Sunday for there roast meals, great value for a big home cooked meal and great staff. Would recommend based on an adult prospective.

Visited on a Friday night, two large groups including ours, took over an hour and a half to get our food, extremely slow , and no excuse as it was not busy. Timing of food was shocking, one bowl came out, and 20 mins later another, dribs and drabs. Food overall was very poor, pork was dry, vegetables grey, extremely disapointing, would not go again ever, and would never recommend to anyone.
