Funny thing is, they are not allowed to take there aprons off. It really is quite sweet watching them attentively run through the door as a customer comes in.

This is a nice little place, it was a little cramped where I was sitting, but a good perch to watch the world (what world there is in Hataitai on a weekday…)go by.
The coffee – Gibston the very small roastery on The Terrace, just near the Treasury – was lovely, and well made. The staff were very attentive, the savoury scone was beautiful – my only complaint would be the staff sitting at the front together smoking, still wearing their aprons – Very unprofessional!
I will give it another go next time I am in the area.
