A relaxed retro feel to this cafe, particularly the seating area out the back where we sat and listened to heavy rain falling on the tin roof. Lovely area to sit with kids – toys provided.
All the usual breakfast dishes are done very competently with free range eggs etc and coffee was good but the absolute standout for us were the brioche buns hot from the oven! So delicious we took more home for afternoon tea, but they didn’t survive even 5 mins once we got in the door. The cabinet was full of delicious looking homemade pies and cakes which we intend to try next time.

Just walking into this place makes me want to hang out there for the entire day… I only ate the museli (which was incredible)… but the porridge, cooked rice, eggs and the entire lunch menu looks amazing. Great coffee too. I want to go here more often :P
