I dined at Seismics on Wed 18th April with my 4 grandchildren. The meal was great the staff were fantastic.We will certainly be back. Thankyou for a lovely meal.

I am a local and often visit other restaurants in Rotorua. I was a little bit hesitant in going to Seismic Gastrobar as it has ‘bar’ on the end of the name and thought it was a bit dubious. However, when i looked at the menu i thought it was interesting, and so took the risk to try a new place i had not been to with my wife. It was her birthday. And i am so glad it paid off!!! My reservations of the place were soon put to rest. Our waitress was very helpful. So much so that she had made for us a dish that was only on the lunch menu AND made it the way we wanted. She really did make sure we had a great experience. What was really surprising was the quality of the food. One of the best, if not, THE best Rotorua has to offer price vs value wise. It is always hard for my wife and i to decide where to eat as the restaurants in Rotorua are very much same ol same ol. We now have a place we will be returning to often and we will be taking friends there. We did not experience the entertainment they advertise as we arrived rather early. Next time.

My husband & I decided to have a night at Rotorua & found Seismic online. The menu looked great and Rewa was singing, so thought it sounded like a fun night out. It was fantastic. The food was great, the waitress was really helpful and friendly, as were the bar staff. Rewa was a great entertainer & we had a top night. I had the chicken stack and my husband had the pork belly, both of which were devine. We had garlic bread for starters & luckily the waitress advised us we would only need the small one, as this way more than enough. Great place to eat, we’ll definately go back.

The eggs bene was fantastic. Even tho over half full it did not seem long to get our meal. Great hot choc too. Service was attentive and friendly.
A place I will definately be returning to & have no hesitation in recommending.

The best meal ever! Forget about the other restaurants in town, this one has it all, superb service, fantastic drinks (the best cocktails in town) and best of all – the BEST FOOD! Steaks that are so succulent you want to go back everyday, aioli to die for! I could go on and on. Sorry Sam (previous reviewer), but the new owners have obviously done wonders to the place, with new chefs and all! I’m hooked!

Shocking, worst breakfast Ive ever had. Tomato barely grilled, so called homemade hash was actually underheated smashed potatoe. Toasted bread hardly toasted.Presentation was awful.You would think the chef no longer cared or was hungover. Not a pleasant experience.
