I dont see why everyone has given this place bad reviews. It is honestly the Chips shop in NEw Zealand 100/10, Not only are the chips heavenly but they are Potatoey Goodness wrapped in orgasmic batter. If you do not eat here you havnt eaten EVER.

Have been here a few times, but have only tried the $6 pack that they have one time chips were a bit soggy but every other time service was great lady was very polite to me. I have also phone ordered and when I arrived I only had to wait 5 mins for my food, waiting a total of 10mins including the time it took me to get there. So I will be back

Usually go for fish and chips opposite the police station in Browns Bay, but my son had rung this shop by mistake for our order approx. 2 weeks ago.

Greasy, soggy and the fish tasted ‘strange’. Sorry guys, but when someone spends $40 on fish and chips, would it be rude to ask that you change your oil occasionaly or get a fishmonger that will sell you better quality fish.

Rang in a phone order, was told to come in 15 minutes, went in and had to wait another 20 minutes. No apologies at all and when i complained(as this wasn’t the first time it had happened) the lady just stared at me with a evil look! Food was overcooked and verging on burnt! Wont go there again as there are plenty of quality takeaway shops, 2 Min’s drive away from this one!

I was really disappointed with our local store, not only for false advertising but also in the way they handled this customer complaint. I popped into get chips for the kids because we were gong to get a Burger fuel burger. We decided to try their burgers instead, So I got a steak and egg burger and a steak burger. On the menu it says all burgers come with TOMATO and ONION and lettuce. When we got them home there was no tomato or onion. I rung to complain and she said they had ran out. I said I would like a part refund because they were very bland and not what we ordered. The owner said she had ran out of these ingredients. She could not understand that I would not have got the burgers if they had run out of ingredients and that they should have told me they did not have these as I would not have brought them. When I went back to get a $4.00 credit which I was using to buy some chips the male owner did not believe me that the they had no tomato.. hello why would I ring and say there was none and his wife agree they had none if it was not true. He was very rude and could not understand either my disappointment. They have lost our business now what a shame for a complaint that could have easily been rectified had they treated the customer more respectfully.
