One Review for Shoreline Dairy/Cafe
The BEST, big breakfasts in Wellington! Trust me, my husband has tried a lot of the classic Kiwi breakfasts,(even out of Wgtn region)and these ones are the BEST, in terms of SIZE and $$$! Once you have something up to that standard, you always seem to compare!
Plus we are only on a very limited budget (now with bubs)and for $12, the breakkie is amazing.
My Husband always gets the Sausages/Bacon/Eggs/option of hash browns or chips, and with toast.
The plates are HUGE.. There are only about 4 or 5 small tables in the cafe area the plates only just fit on the table!
I always order Quiche from the Takeaway counter, with a salad for $7.50. These counters by the way are fantastic with rolls, sandwiches, hot food, massive cakes & slices which you know are homemade. We also notice that loads of truckies and contractors etc stop here for their lunches! That says a lot, as my family owns the same sort of business in Taranaki and providing good ‘lunch’ food to truckies alike is a biggie..
We try to visit here for Sunday brunch (the kitchen closes @ 2pm)and the service is always very friendly.
The only reason I didnt give it the full 5*** is only because there’s no wheelchair access to the tables for my family, and limited space for a pram!
Otherwise ENJOY!
