Average, considering Sierra’s normal reputation for great cafe food. Coffee was quick, strong and hot. Food however was slow, maybe the staff having lost our order didn’t help!
We ordered the Big Breakfast, which was flavourless and sadly not up to scratch….might visit again but not anytime soon.

I have always considered this branch of Sierra average but it was handy to home and the food quality was consistant.
However, after one visit I will never step foot inside the door again.
We witnessed a staff member wipe dirt off the bottom of a wall and clean up juices from raw meat with a filthy cloth and then proceed to wipe around the rim of our plate with the same rag (to make it pretty to serve I assume). After this we were served stone cold coffee which was far too dark to be the half strength we had ordered and when we approached the duty manager we were told, “that’s how it’s served here.” I kid you not!!
Needless to say the wraps were left untouched and the coffee was undrinkable – a $35 lunch and we left as hungry as when we arrived!

Excellent coffee, great food. Nver have a problem with taking the kids, very well catered for. If you are looking for a good cup of coffee (or tea), geat bite to eat then this is the best place in Ellerslie.

I love their new little Bambina coffees that they keep advertising on Classic Hits. (They’re not too strong to keep me awake at night.)
Great food too, (I had yummy hot mushroom & chicken filo pastry) in a nice relaxing cafe environment. If you’re lucky, you can grab a table near the window in the sun and take some time out to read the paper . . .
