Sophisticated and chic cocktail lounge with yakatori – unique Japanese barbeque.

Thank you all for your feedback, for those of you who havent visited Snug Lounge, we are a comfy cocktail bar serving Japanese Yakitori food.
We have a HUGE cocktail list, lots of delicious wines, Heineken on tap, and – for something a bit different a selection of Sakes.
Our menu is Japanese Yakitori, which is essentially traditional Japanese BBQ, we have designed the menu to encourage a casual, informal dining experience, so you order as many (or as few) plates as you like, take your time, talk to friends and eat till you’re full!
Snug Lounge is your home away from home, our friendly staff will do the dishes, make sure your warm enough and ensure you leave wanting to come back the next day!
We have live music every Friday and Saturday and occasionally we like to thow parties with special offers, themes, prizes and djs.

A lovely lounge setting – probably better on a quite night rather than a busy one, especially in front of the fire. 2 for 1 specials on the cocktails are a good deal but definitely on the weak side. Platters are nice but more appropriate as nibbles rather than a full meal. The green tea icecream fried banana dessert is deelish! Good setting for a few drinks with friends.

I have been several times for dinner and drinks and will be coming back again. At first, I must say that atmosphere and interior design is amazing and would compete with European bars. This is not a fine dining restaurant, so you must consider it, and if you coming just for food when you hungry, you may need to go somewhere else. The food is Japanese style kebabs, with meat, vegetables and seafood. They are very nice and you will not find anything like that in town. I would recommend to try it. Good varieties of beers and wines and cocktails. Good for couples and bunch of friends. I also must say about staff. service was outstanding, staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. TRY IT!

It started from the time we walked in. No one was there to see to us, and we were booked in. Not impressed.

The platter for four was like a starter instead of a main, and the amount it cost was rediculous for what we got. There was also nothing ‘Authentic Japanese’ about the food except for the chopsticks….

They only serve one type of beer, otherwise it was cocktails or wine, and my partner had to go to the bar and get the drinks himself as no one came back to take our drink order.

Wont be going back there, I can make better & cheaper ‘kebabs’ at home.

The food has a lot to be desired.

Not authentic Japanese, more like bad BBQ.

The platter for 4 says serves 4 well either 4 little people.

Quite expensive so if you are going take a load of money.
