Service 1.5
Balancing to a 3 overall.
Arriving there was a staff member, we can only assume, hunched over the pass eating – first impression -5 as this can’t be hygienic!
Although the staff were friendly and we had BYO wine – which they never poured nor offered to do so… my partner was purchasing his beverages and never did they offer him another, he continuously had to search out a staff member to ask – even for water!
The Cuisine however is a wonderful combination of flavours, good portions and amazing presentation….
Improve the service and I will be back in a heart beat!
My taste buds fully! there was nothing left on my plate!
Atmosphere was relaxed as you would expect. Chefs, accommodating and friendly.
Would HIGHLY Recommend
Mama and Aunty were very happy

Starting with the bruschetta which was topped with floury tomatoes and didn’t seem to have any olive oil (lucky this is on your table) and dish lacked any kind of real flavour, on the flip side the mussels were good. Following on from the entree my partner ordered the gnocchi which was heavy and chewy served with a watery tomato sauce that had not been seasoned. I ordered the mushroom papperadelle which was also not seasoned, had barely any mushrooms and was overcooked. At the end of the meal when we went up to the counter to pay we had to wait for the counter lady to come back in from having a cigarette, pop a mint and wash her hands! Sorry but this is not good customer service.
I feel really disappointed as this has always been a great place to dine. Can’t say that I will be back in the near future.

now been five times in the last year and never had a dish that wasn’t a delight.
The prices are great value for the quality of food and service.

The service was excellent, our waitress was lovely and very attentive and apparently we had to wait for our drinks so got a round for free but we never noticed that so it was a real bonus. Thoroughly recommend this place, but book, it was busy when we got there.
This was a special occasion, I was taking my wife out for a romantic dinner however the wait sort of tainted the evening, and then attitude of the waiting staff as they were busy serving others. We were also seated near the main entrance door so every time people came and went we also felt the full draft. If it weren’t for the accommodating chef and the lovely food we may never go to this restaurant again.
i have recommeneded soprano to all of my friends and alot of them have been and now also go back as often as they can its making me hungry just thinking about it :O)

I go there as often as I am able and highly recommend Sopranos to anyone that is after a fantastic meal at reasonable prices and great atmosphere.
Staff were incredibly friendly, although what I believe to be English accents amongst the staff were a surprise (was expecting thick Italian accents).
The food was okay, I was a bit disappointed by my main which was a spag meatballs dish, but the rest of it was very good – including my wife’s main which I tried as well, a blue cheese pasta dish. The desserts are amazing and well worth trying. The coffee is good too.
It has a great atmosphere that is very intimate, so booking is virtually compulsory. If there are large groups dining there, they can be a bit noisy, so if you’re taking a lady and hoping to get your game on, working it a lil’ then you might want to take your big game to distract from any large groups. In other words, if you dont want to dine somewhere where you may feel like a raisin in a box of other raisins, then best you look for something a bit more spacious. If you can live with a degree of tight dining, then this is a good place to dine.
