Very nice. Had a number of meals here and even though it’s small, the food is awesome and service excellent. I would like a bigger wine list, but the choice it still good. You know you want to, so Just do it!!!!!!!!

After receiving rave reviews from friends and colleagues, my partner and I decided we just had to try it out! .. First impressions of the layout was far too cluttered, however given the small premises, we felt that was to be expected. We were seated in the centre of the café, with very little space, after noticing other available tables, we were instructed that the other tables were already booked (funny that, they remained empty) … The initial service was excellent, with the specials of the day given, water and wine arrived promptly. Following placing our entrée and first course orders, we were surprised to see others who arrived and ordered after us, were served before us, the wait was approximately 40 mins (the bottle of wine almost gone!) Finally the brochette and calamari arrived, yes it was tasty, however the calamari was chewy, and there was no depth in favour to either of these. The main was served approximately 40 min following, and to our disgust, the plates were cold, and the meals were luke warm (pork and bolognaise order – following a request for cannelloni, which was out of stock!!) … no dessert or coffee was ordered, due to the completion of the main at 9pm, please note we arrived for our seating at 7.30pm (lucky we had some great stuff to talk about which could fill in the time). Could’ve been just a bad night, but Sorry Sopranos, perhaps our expectations were just too high

My wife and I have had a truely wonderful dinning out experience twice now at Soprano’s, our last visit being last Saturday night,it was packed with a good cross section of diners of all ages. The food, a gastronic delight and the waiting staff were young, vibrant and alert and could not be faulted in any way. Maybe Jamie Oliver is working incognito out in the kitchen? we will have to go back and take a peek!!

Have been to Soprano a number of times and always found the food to very consistent and the service great, so on Saturday was walking past and we managed to get a table for 2 without a booking (basically impossible on a Saturday night). Our waiter was fabulous, very attentive and knowledgeable on both the food and wine we ordered. I wish the same could be said for the quality of food.

Starting with the bruschetta which was topped with floury tomatoes and didn’t seem to have any olive oil (lucky this is on your table) and dish lacked any kind of real flavour, on the flip side the mussels were good. Following on from the entree my partner ordered the gnocchi which was heavy and chewy served with a watery tomato sauce that had not been seasoned. I ordered the mushroom papperadelle which was also not seasoned, had barely any mushrooms and was overcooked. At the end of the meal when we went up to the counter to pay we had to wait for the counter lady to come back in from having a cigarette, pop a mint and wash her hands! Sorry but this is not good customer service.

I feel really disappointed as this has always been a great place to dine. Can’t say that I will be back in the near future.

Love love love this place. We go there often and the food is just amazing. The staff are friendly and you’re well looked after. Very busy little place so it’s a must to book . Although it’s a small restaurant, I find that quite cosy so no complaints there – the food is just fantastic.

We go to this restaurant many, many times, service superb, staff very knowledgeable about the food and wine, owner and his wife are fantastic and extremely friendly – food devine! not fussed on sitting at the table which leads to the loo – customers forget to shut the door, but thats the only fault – this restaurant is a must to visit

Great little restaurant very cramped for space but quality of food and service easily makes up for the tight fit.
now been five times in the last year and never had a dish that wasn’t a delight.
The prices are great value for the quality of food and service.

Very disappointed, particularly as I used to enjoy this restaurant very much a few years ago. Pastas ordered at our table were all full of onion and not much else. Those who ordered other types of mains were happy with those. Service was quite poor, almost rude.

Myself and two friends went on friday night for dinner, WOW the food is fantastic with huge servings and so so delicious. I had the ravioli as a main and the banoffie pie for dessert, and I am definitely going back there again and again just to try everything on the menu!!

The service was excellent, our waitress was lovely and very attentive and apparently we had to wait for our drinks so got a round for free but we never noticed that so it was a real bonus. Thoroughly recommend this place, but book, it was busy when we got there.

The food was good, wine selection excellent, waiting time to be served very poor – 30 minutes before our order was taken, after we asked for service.
This was a special occasion, I was taking my wife out for a romantic dinner however the wait sort of tainted the evening, and then attitude of the waiting staff as they were busy serving others. We were also seated near the main entrance door so every time people came and went we also felt the full draft. If it weren’t for the accommodating chef and the lovely food we may never go to this restaurant again.

We went to Sopranos for my daughter’s 21st family dinner. Because there were so many of us they offered a set menu but were very flexible about the dishes on offer. Three courses and coffee/tea for $50 – a bargain. The food was excellent and the atmosphere fantastic. Will definitely go again.

My wife and I dined here just last week – late on a Friday night. Its a small and cosy place, we had to stand outside a little while until a couple paying and leaving had cleared the doorway for us to go in. The place was very busy! Although it would be busy if you took 5 of your best friends its that small (if you dont have 5 friends, try chihuahuas)

Staff were incredibly friendly, although what I believe to be English accents amongst the staff were a surprise (was expecting thick Italian accents).

The food was okay, I was a bit disappointed by my main which was a spag meatballs dish, but the rest of it was very good – including my wife’s main which I tried as well, a blue cheese pasta dish. The desserts are amazing and well worth trying. The coffee is good too.

It has a great atmosphere that is very intimate, so booking is virtually compulsory. If there are large groups dining there, they can be a bit noisy, so if you’re taking a lady and hoping to get your game on, working it a lil’ then you might want to take your big game to distract from any large groups. In other words, if you dont want to dine somewhere where you may feel like a raisin in a box of other raisins, then best you look for something a bit more spacious. If you can live with a degree of tight dining, then this is a good place to dine.

We dined here about a month ago. We had not heard of the Soprano’s before and only stumbled across it while out walking and decided to give it a go. What a great find! Excellent food and service and funky setting. Will definately call again.

I have dined here twice and was thoroughly impressed both times. The waiting staff were busy but wonderful. The food was delicious. On my first visit I had the fish of the day with a delicious lemon and caper sauce, second visit there was a different fish offered but the waitress talked to the chef who made lemon caper for me again. I am already planning to return. It is small so make sure you book.
