Yay, finally staff who speak with New Zealand accents in Queenstown!! Who would’ve thought that you could miss hearing that dreary drone of a Kiwi accent when you’re in Kiwiland?!
Service was great. Staff were friendly. Food was beautiful, as was the Honeycomb Cheesecake that I had … mmmm!
What I did notice, sitting outside in the sun, was that some foreigners are decidedly less considerate than Kiwis – the smoking ones anyway. I’m neither a smokist or a foreignist, but I have noticed when eating outdoors in other places in other parts of the country smokers were decidedly more considerate than they were here – but thats no fault of Speights Ale House.
