Great pub style place, always consistently good quality food and very friendly and efficient service. Good choice and reasonable prices.

Went here for mother’s day. Food was not that good. Staff were friendly. We have dined here in the past and had much better food. Hope this was a only a bad day.

Decent food. Good service. Timaru menu doesn’t seem to be as interesting as the Christchurch one though. Not many vegetarian options, but the one that they do have is quite yummy. Been there a few times now, and will go back on occasion, as food is often enjoyable (though I would have to say – not outstanding). Meat has been overcooked a couple times (even when requested medium rare).
Nothing fancy, but pretty good food for your average pub type restaurant.
Interior is open with high ceilings, which tends to make it noisy (and a bit drafty in winter months).

The food here is excellent and always consistant, the garlic loaf and shanks deserve a mention. Also a good selection of food

Only disapointing part is they have butchered the inside of a landmark, to open and ranch like, shame really.

ALWAYS fantastic! This is my fave in Timaru! They are ALWAYS consistant across the board, service, food overall experience! The staff are ultra friendly! The food is great, we always have the garlic bread which is sooooooo yummy and you HAVE to try the chicken parcels! (forgot to add, they are sooo quick and you can be in and out in about an hour on most occasions!)
