We eat here often, and it is one of the best places in Auckland!

The staff are friendly, it is always packed – booking is essential.

The food is consistantly fantastic.
We love the chicken rendang, salt & pepper squid, crispy oat prawns, chili beans, in fact no matter what you choose you cant go wrong as everything is good!

Amazing restaurant. The curry laksa was amazing. Full of flavor, and just yet right amount Of chilli/spiciness.
Mee goreng was good as well, everything we ordered was a pleasure to eat. Would definitely return there in hopes for the same quality food and service.

Five of us went to Sri Makhota tonight. It was our first time there and it was great. We have tried KK Malaysia and Selera recently but the food was just as good here. The portions sizes were generous and the service was good. I would highly recommend this place and would go back in a heartbeat. The Four Seasons Beans were excellent as were the Chicken and Beef Rendangs. I am already looking forward to our next visit!

Have been back several times with friends and family and to date have never been disappointed. Sharing dishes and something different everytime we always walk away completely happy and satisfied. Top rate food!

We have eaten here once, and the food was excellent. It was completely packed and very noisy, but this gave it great atmosphere.

I have tried many Malaysian foods in Auckland and Sri Mahkota must be one of the best. I and my friends order chicken curry with peanuts on rice, steamed soya chicken on rice, oat prawns, etc, all of them are very tasty.

Great food at a great value. Lunch are $10-$15. The standout dish is the fish head rice noodle soup, at $20 it is enough for 2. Luxury soup with chunks of delicious fish. Main restaurant had good decor but the back room was a bit bare. Nice and tidy presentation. It was fairly busy on a Tuesday lunch time. Will be back for sure.
