We had our anniversary dinner here last night and WOW!!!
The food, staff and service was great.
We had breads and dips for starters and for mains the seafood platter and the char-grilled beef fillet – YUM!!!!
We will recommend this restaurant!!!

My partner and I loved this restaurant,
Food was divine, service impeccable, ambiance relaxing and very pretty. My partner was drinking and our host recommended some fabulous wines, a single malt whiskey and an extraordinary sherry to match his meal choices. I was driving and enjoyed a mocktail from an extensive list of non alcoholic beverages. We will definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family. A real surprise and a fabulous find.

Environment and service was good, food however was not.
I chose a seafood platter and got an overcooked skewer of fish and prawns served with chips. I paid extra ($5) for a side salad and got a bowl of lettuce, nothing else.
Would I eat here again? Definitely not.

What a great restaurant! Set in lovely surroundings with tables in the lovely garden outside. Really helpful friendly & knowledgeable staff and absolutely fantastic food! Will most definitely be back, maybe for lunch next time. If you’re ever heading up (or down) SH1 around lunch or dinner time, you really should stop and eat here.

Fantastic! Took my girlfriend there tonight. Had entrees and mains, perfect sizes. Amazing food with great staff. Nic couldn’t eat all her main and the waitress was really worried that there was a problem, there wasn’t. Just lots of great food! Plenty of choices for drinks too, from top wines to cocktails. Def going back.

Good quality fresh food, beautifully cooked and very well presented. A very pleasant dining experience with great service and friendly staff.

We dined here on the 17th Feb 2011 for dinner and I can not rave enough about the service and the food. The rack of lamb was divine and cooked to perfection! We had our 7 month old son with us and the staff could not have been more helpful with heating his dinner for us and even offering to wash his plate and spoon. The setting is peaceful and relaxed and I can not wait to try the lunchtime menu whilst dining outside in the wonderful gardens

What a special night with brilliant food, service and ambience. When booking I let them know it was our wedding anniversary, which they noted and then added a couple of very special touches that turned a good night into something very special.

The love hearts sprinkled on the table, the service provided by the waitress and ‘Happy Anniversary’ icing message on the desert plate and roses might seem like small touches, but made the whole experience truly delightful and we felt very special.

The restaurant is a beautiful setting for a romantic dinner or for a large group of friends. The restaurant opens onto a lovely outdoor garden area which we visited a couple of times during our meal. We were even served our desert in a candle lit, grape vine covered gazebo.

We would highly recommend this restaurant to all.

I took my sister there for her birthday in July 2010. The food and service well exceeded my expectations. When Brigitte learned that it was a birthday event they even bought out a cake and candle for her and a complimentary gift! They were so kind it was heartwarming.

Had Christmas lunch there in 2008 and it was fantastic! Great atmosphere. A lot of little extras that really made the day special and of course superb food and wonderful service. We were a group ranging from 14 years to 90 years and we all enjoyed the day. My mother has dined there with family and friends (lunch and dinner) and every time it has been a wonderful experience.

My boyfriend took me here for a treat and i was so impressed. I loved the food, the service was excellent and the price was very reasonable.
It’s a beautiful setting and everything is well presented and the facilities are clean.
I have a birthday coming up and have already let my loved ones know where i want to celebrate.
A perfect evening.

Presentation, taste, ambiance and service are wonderful. Have enjoyed this experience many times and will go again. The desert for 2 with 3 items is so wonderful!
