great place,great atmosphere.The Curry laksa was DELICIOUS!!! it balanced the soup,meat and noodles really well. I highly recommend this place as the meals are hearty and the service is wonderful. Now, my favourite Restaurant!

Absolutely the best Char kway teow I’ve ever had. You have to try it. I have had it take away and dine in and it is always fantastic. It is a very generous serving at a very good price. I tried it after reading a review here – so glad I did.

My friends and I regularly dine at Sungai Wang. The food is delicious and such a good price. Cosy, warm atmosphere with polite staff. Meals are never a disappointment and always consistent each time we go. Would definitely recommend for everyone to try it!

Great little Restaurant,My work mates and I go there for all our get together’s.a fave spot!I remember once I went there and only spent $4(yum roti and a satay sauce) and left full.highly recommended

Sungai is always quick, cheap and cheerful. The food is always consistant and tasty. The Char Kway Teow is fantastic and I often pick a takeaway up from here on the way home. Have only eaten in here a couple of times and would recommend more for a group of friends rather than a quite meal.

Delicious food, big servings, nice and simple decor, and very cheap prices. This place is great and I go there all the time. Highly recommended.

We have eaten here twice now and had great dining experiences both times. Cheap and cheerful meals, plentiful portions, and extra fast service – great if you are super hungry and want a decent meal quickly. Tonight, we enjoyed the Malaysian red chicken curry and mee hoon goreng. Both had just the right amount of kick (medium-hot) and good sized servings. We’re pleased to discover they also do takeaways.

Food was excellent and very well priced. This would be my pick in Lower Hutt area for Malaysian. Atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy. Not flash of course either, but it is great considering the food and price.
