Swanson St Cafe closed and has been fully refurbished. It is now SWANSONS SANDWICH BAR, a lunch bar that caters to choose your own sandwiches using top quality products along with cakes, pies, slices, muffins & scones etc all made in on site in the new kitchen. Swansons still offer excellent Coffee and other beverages. Their specialty is a SLOW COOKED HOT ROAST CARVERY with a different roast each day alternating between FREEDOM FARMS FREE RANGE PORK – MAHY FARMS AGED SIRLOIN & RUMP – HAWKES BAY LAMB.

I would rate this as one of the best places to have lunch in Auckland. Very “local”, the food and coffee is amazing (especially the cupcakes
