Managed to grab a table 7pm Saturday when all the dining establishments was buzzing. No fuss friendly service. Good timing between courses. Food was hot and delicious. Could not fault, will definitely be back for more.

My husband and I ventured out on rare night out on Saturday 30th. We were seated my a blonde waitress dressed in costume for halloween.
We were lucky enough as she was busy to have the owner serve us. She introduced herself before taking our order as Bex. When she delivered our drinks hubby made a comment about the lamp shades which she then told us the story about how her and her hubby had picked them (which is how we realised she was the owner). Her service was very personal and she made us feel very welcome not like a another dollar in the till.
The meal was lovely ( I had a salad and hubby tried the stone grill from becs recommendation). The staff looked really good and the music was not too loud.
The only negative was the people sitting next to us smoking. Was really off putting as we are both non smokers.
We will be back.

Had a meal there a few weeks ago after purchasing a grab one coupon, the free drink was a very tiny glass of beer and the fish and chips which we had to wait about an hour for were very soggy and I didn’t finish them. Nice atmosphere, service ok and my partners pizza was very nice. I suggest though that if you try and get new clients via a grab one promo, you try to live up to what the coupon offers to entice the client to revisit, which is not likely to happen when the free drink is much smaller than what you have normally ordered.

We went here when it first opened and liked it. They had a great steak, like an upmarket T-bone. Decor is upmarket with really cool lightshades. Went here again the week before Jazz Festival: they’ve changed the menu and it’s a bit cheaper than before. Got a really good pasta meal and watched the rugby: lots of screens and nice wine to drink… Good one.

my partner, 2 friends and I dined at syndicate for dinner. we fist had a bottle of house sauv which was very nice, when we ordered another they were out, and also out of our second choice and several other food and drink choices throughout the night, however we did find a wine on the list we enjoyed. after oredering we waited 1 hour for entrees, for which the wait was subsidised. entrees were nice. mains were average anything stated coming with chips actually came with wedges, and other mains were average also. from looking at the menu most of us struggled to actually find something which sounded nice. on this note i would have only given a 1 star rating. however, the waitress (andrea) who served us helped still make this an enoyable night. excellent customer service by andrea made this review a 3 star rating

Last night we were drawn in here by the $5 happy hour which went until 7pm while we decided where we were going to eat. A waitress came over immediately and asked us if we would like to order. We sat at an outside table and were given menus also. Our waitress was great, friendly but not pushy, and looked after us very well. She kept an eye on our table and came over to see if we would like another drink when ours were empty. We decided to have dinner here in the end, mostly due to the great service we were receiving, and pleasant atmosphere. We had bread and dips to start with, which was very nice and generous. Then I had pasta with spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and feta, and my partner had the mussel and prawn pasta. Large meals and very, very tasty. We will definitely be back, there were several things on the menu that we want to try. Thanks for a great night!
Poor selection of drinks. Eg RTD Bourbon. Beer selection lacking. I wanted a low carb beer (diabetic) in a bottle. None.Place was quiet service was slow. Nobody approached us to see if we wanted a meal or another drink. When the girl brought the only round we had to the table she had no idea what she was serving us. And said “I don’t know, I didn’t make them” No quick food on the menu. Seems strange when you offer a sports channel on the TV. Left after one drink.
