We dined at Table Restaurant last weekend, first the good points. The court yard is just lovely for pre dinner drinks even in July it was warm with outside heaters and the platters are so yummy (I loved the hot platter with huge prawns). Also the wine selection was excellent.

Now the bad points, there is only 1 vegeterian option on the menu Pumpkin & parmesan ravioli, steamed cavolo nero & garlic roasted baby tomatoes while it was lovely for $36 for 3 ravioli was really dissapointing and not value for money at all. Also the market fish of the day was frozen not fresh and it was very dry and seved with only 1 scallop and 2 prawns and no sauce so again $36 was very over priced and to be honest our local fish and chip shop serves better fish. Also the waiting staff were very hesitant to bring out more vegetables and salads our waitress said ‘you havent even finished what you have’, its true we didnt finish what was there but we did want more.

Would I recommend Table Restaurant, unfortunately no I wouldnt.

Peter j…the problem is with you .How can you say that this place is as bad as that…and even the cheek to say 3 times in a row …read the other reviews. Also if your problem was that big, why didnt you approach the owner to sort it out, he would have looked after you.
