Tried this place with deal voucher. Customer service was great and the pizza was really really good. It’s probably one of best pizza I tried in Auckland. The place has good atmosphere and car parking are quite easy to find too. Will definitely be going back

I am not sure about their pizzas – but I do know they do not pay their accounts. Alex has owed money for printing since September and despite promises of payment we have not received it.

Oh my god!
I went last night with my deal voucher not knowing what to expect but they blew me away!
I can still taste the pizza, which hand to my heart is the best I have ever had (Popeye pizza), me and my girlfriend shared everything including the Cannelloni which was really good but just overshadowed by the best pizza in the world! The entree was DELICIOUS (#7 on the tapas list) the coriander dip was to die for and everything mixed perfectly. For desert we had the lemon tart(off the specials board) which just topped off all the amazing food we had!
BYO so we got a nice bottle of Sav which complemented the food perfectly.
Service was lovely, the owner (I assume?) was really kind and funny, and the waitress made sure our water was topped up regularly and checked if our food was good at the appropriate times.
I can not rave about this place any more! This is a must try, am looking forward to trying everything!

This is my first ever revue, and I felt compelled to rave about Tango. We went as a group last night, and were all blown away. The food, atmosphere, service and entertainment (Dancers) were supurb!

Love the fact that it’s a BYO.

This was our second visit to Tango, first was for the Spanish night which was great, but our Italian meal recently was even better. Where to start, we popped in for a quick meal and ended up having four courses so we could try everything. I had the Antipasto to start, then the handmade pasta; Messelune filled with snapper, lemon and coriander in a fish bisque, just gorgeous. The Panna Cotta was silky smooth and creamy and my friends loved their lemon tart. The friends also loved their gnocchi with chicken and vegetable ragu and we all thought the focaccia was the best we’ve had. Alex is a wonderful host and the service was just the right balance of friendly and helpful. And very reasonably priced, can’t wait to try their pizzas!

I had the most scrumptious breakfast ever at Tango on Sunday. The menu is wonderful – fun choosing – so I had a vegetarian poached eggs. Beautifully presented, fresh, each of the several items perfectly prepared – made you feel special. Charming waitress and Alex the owner came twice to see if we were happy and enjoying it. The Decor at Tango is very cool – carefully thought out with great attention to detail making a dining there a very pleasant experience. Great coffee too!
Definitely go there!

Only had a takeway pizza, but it was devine. The staff were very friendly and the place has a nice feel to it. The pizza had a lovely tomato flavour not the horrid overdone tomato paste you get on some pizzas and the cheese was tasty and just the right amount.
One pizza was only enough for two adults, I felt.

Will be returning!!

When you try a new restaurant, there’s always that challenging sensation that you don’t know what you will get.
Last night we’ve tried the new TANGO in Grey Lynn, and we have to say we’ve been served THE BEST pasta and pizza we’ve tried in a long time (as good as the ones we’ve tried in selected restaurants overseas). The owner, Alejandro, ensures everyone gets the best, personal, even beautifully old-fashioned service you want together with a delicious, hearty italian meal to please adults and kids alike. Lovely.
