had breakfast with my husband on 4/2/12. I give 1 star for nice outside area and second star for getting together all right ingridients for my egg benedict. Unfortunately they have managed to spoil it by serving it cold. Why was it cold???We also asked for VERY HOT coffee, that’s how we like it. I even made a girl to write on the paper word ‘very hot”. It did not work, our coffee was luke warm. When i took it back, she heated it up in a microwave! I thought, why bother paying $4.50 for rehited coffee, i could just ask for hot water and have Moccona out of the jar…My husband wanted to order fish on special, but when i asked about the fish, they said it was made out of frozen. Why would we eat frozen fish in Whitianga in the middle of the summer, when there are so many fresh fish?? So he ordered corn fritters instead, and they were good. I don’t think I would be cominf back again, I would rather try another place.

There are lots of tables in the sun. About at this point the really good stuff ends. Our poached eggs were on toasted thin tip top sandwich bread (i do like Tip Bread, just not when I am paying cafe prices for my eggs). The bagel was not good friends with the two day old salad and sad salmon. The big breakfast on the menu maybe the best option.
