Introduced to this restaurant by a friend who is a big fan. Strolled over for dinner after work one evening and we were greeted warmly and promptly. Loved the fact that no booking was required. We ordered the set menu which was great value at $26/= and very filling. Each course was beautifully done and included amongst others, fresh salads, very succulent and tasty prawns and calamari entree and a lovely homemade vanilla icecream to finish! Very patient and friendly service too. I particularly liked the fact that they didn’t seem to want to rush us out of the restaurant when we finished eating or kept asking for more orders, but rather kept filling up our water glasses quietly so we could continue our conversation uninterrupted. This meant that we later made more drinks orders at our leisure. Loved the experience and food that I went back for take-aways and was again greeted warmly and immediately brought a glass of water and seated while I made my order. They were even flexible with the menu and made adjustments to accommodate what I wanted.

It is the little things that count in life and I will definitely recommend this restaurant for an overall great experience and will certainly be back even though it means driving in from East Auckland for me! Well done and I hope you will always keep up the good standards.

Introduced by friend as I was looking for “child friendly restaurant” and TEN was just right. Freshly cooked tasty food in generous portion. Kids menu has bit of everything with home-made ice cream!
Even better they have toddler toilette seat!!
I have been returning to TEN with colleagues and friends since. They all loved TEN as I do.

Went a few weeks ago for after dinner snacks. very cosy place for a nice quite chat with friends. The food was very nice and the prices were reasonable.

try the chocolate cake with homemade ice cream, it’s divine!

The only odd thing, although your bill is delivered in a American express folder, they do not accept the card
