Wonderful food, ambiance, friendly staff, impecable presentation. The only let down is a massively over priced menu.

I’ve been coming here since it opened about 14 years ago. We (wife and I)used to be big fans as food is ALWAYS incredible! However, stopped about 3 years ago when I noticed the prices had really skyrocketed.

As tonight is our 22nd anniversary, I will unbuckle the lock on my wallet and tread into familiar territory and eat here.
I will report back my findings to you (that is, unless the owner doesn’t stab me in the eye for not being there for the last 3 years!)
God, I hope the food is a good as what it used to be!!!

Update……Had the meal and can confirm that this is an exceptional dining experience! Luckily the prices haven’t gone up in the 3 years since we last enjoyed a meal here, so is now on a par of cost associated with other restaurants. Was crowded (good sign), warm (absolutely freezing outside) and attentive service. One small complaint – the staff would come and place the rice on your plate as required. I would prefer a bowl of rice to be left that we can top up at leisure, rather than calling them over. Will be back!!!

We had a wonderful evening here, the food was first rate and the service was charming. We had the banquet for 6 people and the food was generous and of good quality. They also take Bartercard which was nice.

We use to go to Thai Corner a few years ago with no problem. We went on Fathers Day where we were the first to be seated. We ordered and waited for our food, we actually waited over an hour for our mains to come out with the head waitress apologising that our meal was to come soon. We noticed that there was alot of takeaway orders coming thru and these were being looked after before the sitting customers, not good, also the food was below standard too salty, will try another local Thai Restaurant next time….

Thai Corner is always excellent. Service is amazing from the moment you walk through the door. Drinks are served promptly (and are good value!). Meals are always delicious and served at just the right time. One of the best thai restaurants around.

It was a cold rainy saturday evening. We were seated straight away and given a choice of where we would like to be seated. Since the restaurant wasnt particulally warm a heater was placed beside our table. Drinks orders taken staright away. Meals delivred promptly. Had the peanut money bags and Thai fish cakes for entree. Absolutely devine. Main meals came quickly and were delicous. Good prices and nice staff

As frequent diners of local and international locations The Thai Corner would have to be one of the best eating places around. If you like Thai then this would have to be in the top few and its not only the food thats good; the minute you walk in you are treated as though you are a VIP. Dining with a group of 20 or 4 the service was impecible. Will keep dining here any chance we get.

I live locally and have been going here for about a decade, and it is always superb. When I visited South East Asia I actually felt all the food paled in comparison to Thai Corner! I thoroughly recommend the excellent vegetarian menu – particularly the Yam Yai. The staff are absolutely lovely and always welcome you with enthusiasm.

the best restaurants food Ive ever had , absolutely faultless service from the long time gracious hostess . restaurants come and go but this one has stuck around for a long time and may it continue to do so
