Consistently good food and very cheap. I’m a regular. Could do with freshening up the interior to match the standard of food though!

Quite honestly, I am not a typical kiwi. I have lived 17 years overseas with over 50 visits to Thailand. I have been sooo disappointed with self-proclaimed “Thai” restaurants all over Auckland that have terrible food. I visited so many Thai restaurants including one in WestEnd area where we promptly chucked the meal in the rubbish and I was ready to give-up. But much to my surprise! I discovered the THAI FLAVOUR small take-away restaurant on the TeAtatu Road. Careful this is NOT the Thai Peninsula Restr. fancy place but I am talking about a true take-way place. I can honestly tell you this is authentic thai food and if you love Thai food you will know in an instant. I strongly recommend the dish Chicken Larb Gai….if you are bold order HOT spicy which is my first choice and the flavours are non-stop and it brings out your endorphins. Enjoy you have fond a true hidden gem in Auckland I travel from town to be here. Please don’t tell your friends I want this place all for myself. But much too late because my best mates from Takapuna drive to Thai Flavour just for the food ! JACK Auckland Central Freeman’s Bay

Refused to go there because of a ‘D’ rating. Tried once since they now have a ‘B’ however wont be going back. Thai Peninsula is much better value for money, just around the corner.

It was with some trepidation that I gave Thai Flavour a go after spying a very bad food rating in their window (about a year back!). I guess I just totally wrote them off.

However I recently decided to give them a go (they are back to B rating). Food DELICIOUS and service great. Prices extremely reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Prices are extremely competitive with Thai Peninsula, which is also very good, but more expensive.

Our local and we love it! On first name basis due to our regular visits. Great food, great price, great people.

This place is such a find, amazing food with so much flavour and lots of fresh high quality veggies. Great value for money.

You will not find better value for money, quality and service than Thai Flavour. Would have it everyday but settle for once a week when I’m in the area. Fantastic!
