I live locally and we are regular visits to Thai Taste. The service is ALWAYS excellent and extremely polite and prompt. Every time we visit we are made to feel welcome and appreciated as customers. The food is of a high standard and is always well presented and tastes very fresh. The decor isn’t fancy, but for food and service I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Just finished an awesome dining experience with Thai Taste. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The food was well presented and generous portions of food. The steamed seafood was sumptuous but my favourite dish has to be Pad Thai. Well recommended and delightful

This is a wonderful restaurant. The staff are courteous and the food is delicious. The efficiency in getting the food out is excellent. On a cold day, it was also very toasty warm inside. I would strongly recommend this restaurant to all. Has its own parking too!

Best Thai food I have ever eaten, such friendly staff, lovely new premises and very affordable, I have been to other Thai places in the area and for what you pay at Thai Taste it if far better and suitable for the whole family, very fun experience. will defiantly be going here as a regular.

I am Thai Taste lover, one of their customer for almost 11 years now. They used to have Thai Taste 99 in Belmont, the way to Devonport for 10 years before they move to Huapai last year. I still keep coming to Thai Taste even it quite far from my house. I love their food, very healthy and fresh! Fantastic food! Owner and waitress are very friendly.
My family and I just went to Thai Taste on Friday and they were very busy. I had my favorite dishes which is Koong Kra-bog as an appetizer and Mad Sea as the main. It was very yummy and everybody did enjoy the meal very much. Recommended Thai Taste to everybody.

Well what a horrible experience visiting Thai taste was….normally we go to Golden Silk Thai restaurant in Kumeu, but decided to give Thai Taste a go and what a mistake that was. Our entree’s were average but very greasy almost dripping in fat – prawns wrapped in rice paper, but I can live with that. The icing on the cake was when my Yellow Chicken Curry was delivered with 2 long black hairs in it. That is just foul. When I called the waitress over to point this out to her she was some what rude and then took the offending dish back to the kitchen. After sitting there for a few more minutes we decided we would rather just leave than continue our meal. When I went to inform them of this they had the following explanation ” its not human hair its animal hair”….well that got me thinking what kind of animals do they have in that kitchen because I have never seen a chicken with black hair!!!! We will never return!!!

We attended this Restaurant last Saturday Evening. The food was absolutely fantastic, the service was extremely courteous and the ambience second to none.Prices are indeed very reasonable. They are Licensed and BYO Wine. This is a relatively new restaurant in the area and it is difficult to understand why they were not full (maybe the rugby game in Wellington kept everyone home)However we will certainly be back. Restaurants of such high calibre are difficult to find today.
